Dear Friend,

I hope you are hale and hearty.  This letter aims to express my gratitude for the precious books you lent to me a few days ago. I am really very appreciative of you for this act of kindness. Your books proved my unerring and genuine companions. They guided me like true and genuine friends. Your books have enriched my mind and supplied me with many informative lessons.

The encyclopedia and the books on scientific discoveries helped me complete my Science project successfully. I would like to inform you that I got the highest marks on the project and I couldn’t have done this without your valuable books.

I am reading your books and gradually learning a lot of things to live a successful life. My teachers can visibly see a positive change in my creative writing. I have enjoyed reading Shakespeare’s novels beyond description. They have opened a new way of beauty, emotions, adventure and fantasy.

“Books are a uniquely portable magic.” Stephen King

These outstanding books have helped me a lot in improving my vocabulary, spelling, grammatical skills and general knowledge. In short, all of your books wielded a very optimistic, and Enlightening impact on my life. Your passion for reading books and maintaining a beautiful personal library is awe-inspiring. I have also decided to collect good books because they are like a treasure. I have learnt books comfort everybody in distress and anguish and bring unmatchable delight.

I want to thank you once again for sharing your books with me. I have read a few and I hope that I shall return them soon. I promise you that I shall take care of these books. I also have a fine collection of books and I will send those to you.

“You are not done with a book until you pass it to another reader.” Donalyn Miller

Thanks again for your sincere response.

Yours sincerely,
X.Y.Z
