Tips to win a debate
Debating is a skill that can be acquired with practice. I am going to share some tips and tricks to help you become a pro debater.
The first tip is to act confident. Head to the podium spine straight and make eye contact with your audience.
Avoid using words like Ummm and ahh, these words are also known as fillers.
Secondly, maintain proper body language.
Don’t gaze at a particular section of the audience for a long time. Otherwise, the rest of the audience will stop focussing on your speech.
Don’t fidget with your fingers instead of using appropriate hand gestures.
Speak clearly so that people can understand you. Your volume should be loud enough so you can be audible to your audience.
Lastly don’t mumble your words.
